My name is Clarke Surrey and I am a freelance professional photographer and videographer based in San Diego County in Southern California. I received my BA in Cinema and Television Arts in 2016, and have been a working professional for the last 10 years. From corporate videos, documentaries, weddings, social media promos, and beyond, I have worked with a ton of industries to create high end professional media projects from start to finish. Some freelancers specialize in a single role (such as directing) and hire a full crew to handle the rest of the process, but not here. I do everything. I am the director, the gaffer, the DP, the camera op, the grip, the electric, the editor, the colorist, the sound recordist, the sound designer, the sound mixer, and whatever else the shoot may require. What you see on this site are not projects I was “a part of”, they are projects that I personally did every single step of the way. I believe in showcasing work that I can reliably create completely by myself, because this website is about my personal skillset. If you want to do a larger project, I can absolutely make that happen, but what you see here is what I can do alone – leaving you to imagine the possibilities of what I can do with a full crew.
